2027 Presidency: Arewa Group Calls On Jonathan To Save Nigeria

As Nigerians continue to experience economic hardship, a political advocacy group, Arewa Consensus for Jonathan, has called on former President Goodluck Jonathan to run for President in 2027.

According to them, that way, Nigeria would bounce back on the path of economic progress and development.

They made the call during a press conference held in Bauchi State, North East Nigeria.

Addressing journalists, the National Coordinator, Arewa Consensus for Jonathan, Munnir Yisin, says Nigerians are feeling unsafe under the current President Tinubu-led government.

He says its policies are undemocratic since they are not reflecting the minds and feelings of the masses, and calls on the people to vote him out come 2027.

The group said the current President lacks meaningful economic plans to make the country’s economy better for the people.

As the group assured its maximum readiness to mobilise support for Jonathan come 2027, what remains now for the people to hear, is whether Jonathan will accept or turn down the offer as advocated by the political group.
