A lady has stirred conversation online after boldly declaring her love and allegiance to Nigeria despite having no Nigerian roots by birth or parentage. In a now-viral clip originally shared on X, the woman repeatedly affirmed, I am Nigerian by force, by thunder, by earthquake, stressing that even though she wasnt born in Nigeria and her parents arent Nigerian, she identifies deeply with the country. I dont have a birth certificate from Nigeria but I am Nigerian, she said passionately. She went on to say that her connection to Nigeria is so strong, even a natural disaster couldnt shake it.
