Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface has assured Nigerians that Libya won’t escape defeat in Friday’s 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The Super Eagles top Group D with four points and are the only team yet to concede a goal in the group, and a double header victory over Libya will see them move clear and move closer to securing qualification ticket
While Libya will be desperate to get their first win of the qualifying campaign, Boniface, however, told Football Fans Tribe in an interview that the North African team will end up losing at the Godwill Akpabio International Stadium.
“First of all, there is no weak team because the opponent is also here; they are here to represent their family and country,” Boniface told the Football Fans Tribe.
“We are doing the same, so we will try our possible best to make a country like Nigeria really proud, to get three points, and to try to qualify for the next Africa Cup of Nations.
“We know how important the last one was for Nigeria in general, the support and everything, so we will try our possible best to get the win.”
