Alleged N1.3bn Fraud: ‘This too shall pass. Stay strong brother’ – Paul Okoye sends support to his Jude Okoye; says his arraignment and remand in prison is what “someone” wanted

Singer Paul Okoye aka Rudeboy has reacted to the arraignment of his older brother, Jude Okoye, and his company, Northside Music Ltd, by the EFCC today February 26.  Jude was arraigned by the EFCC before Justice Alexander Owoeye of the Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi, Lagos on a seven-count charge of allegedly laundering N1.38 billion, $1million and 34,537.59. Reacting to the news, Paul said that this too shall pass and asked his brother to stay strong.”  He went on to state that this was what someone wanted all along. He however did not mention who he was referring to.  Peter Okoye, who is a twin to Paul, last year disclosed that he had filed a petition with the EFCC after discovering his brother Jude Okoye opened a “secret company” and was diverting funds from their joint company to it. Jude denied this and claimed his company was not secret and while he and his brothers have a joint company, they all have their own private companies with Peter owning P-Classic and Paul owning Rude Boy Record.  The post Alleged N1.3bn Fraud: ‘This too shall pass.
