The Federal Government says the transformation of the nation’s healthcare delivery system will be impossible if not for the active and coordinated participation of sub-national governments in the country.
Coordinating Minister of healthcare and social welfare, Ali Pate made the acknowledgment at the state house banquet hall in Abuja, as the federal government recognized performing state governors.
Anambra State Governor, Charles Soludo was awarded the primary healthcare leadership prize.

The minister emphasised the enhanced cooperation from the Nigeria Governors’ Forum in advancing federal government’s initiative to double primary healthcare facilities in Nigeria from 8,800 to 17,600 over the next four years.
