Army Chief calls for intensified war against terrorists, bandits.

Nigeria’s Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Olufemi Oluyede, has told officers and men of the Nigerian Army to intensify their efforts in securing the country.

During his official visit to the 35 Artillery Brigade, Alamala, Abeokuta, Ogun State, General Oluyede commended the soldiers for flushing out the Lukarawa terrorists from Northern Nigeria and urged them to do more to ensure national security.

The Chief of Army Staff was received by Brigadier General Godwin Nwamba, Commander of the 35 Artillery Brigade

After an indoor meeting with the brigade officers, General Oluyede addressed the troops, charging them to reinvigorate their commitment to securing the country.

He said a secure nation will attract more investors thereby boosting the economy.

General Oluyede assured the soldiers of improved welfare noting that efforts to secure the country from banditry are yielding positive results.

He promised foreign investors they have nothing to fear as Nigeria is open to business in a secure environment.
