China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi has criticized recent military actions by Israel and the United States against Iran, saying they “sent wrong signals to the world and set a bad precedent.”
Wang made the remarks during a meeting with former British Prime Minister Tony Blair in Beijing, according to a statement released by China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
He urged all parties involved in the conflict to take steps to de-escalate tensions and return to dialogue and negotiation.
