‘Bad precedent’ – China’s foreign minister condemns Israeli, US attacks on Iran

China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi has criticized recent military actions by Israel and the United States against Iran, saying they “sent wrong signals to the world and set a bad precedent.”
Wang made the remarks during a meeting with former British Prime Minister Tony Blair in Beijing, according to a statement released by China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
He urged all parties involved in the conflict to take steps to de-escalate tensions and return to dialogue and negotiation.
