Bandits have killed one person and abducted at least 10 others, including men, women, and children, during a deadly attack on Gidan Dawa village in Dutsin-ma Local Government Area of Katsina State.
The incident, which occurred on Sunday night, was revealed in a post shared by security analyst, Bakatsine, on X on Monday.
According to the post, the assailants stormed the village at night.
During the invasion, one person was killed, two others sustained injuries, and several houses were ransacked.
Bakatsine reported that the bandits abducted at least 10 villagers during the attack, taking both adults and children.
“Yesterday night, bandits invaded Gidan Dawa village, Dutsin-ma LGA of Katsina State. They killed one person, injured two people, ransacked houses and abducted at least 10 people including men, women and children during the invasion,” Bakatsine wrote.
Authorities are yet to issue an official statement regarding the attack.
