Bauchi Governor Bala Mohammed Bags Award Of Excellence In Security Management

Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to provide the security agencies with all the necessary support in ensuring the safety and security of lives and properties of the across the state

Governor Bala Mohammed stated this during the 2024 dinner and awards presentation organised by the Nigerian Police Force, Bauchi State Command

The ceremony attracted security agents, public and private bodies among others especially those who contributed immensely to the security of the state.

State Commissioner of Police Mohammed Auwal highlighted some of the command’s successes recorded within the last year 2024 which according to him was achieved through the collaborative efforts between the Police and other sister security agencies as well as the citizens who provides them with useful information.

Some of the successes mentioned by the CP include the arrest of two thousand three hundred and twenty two suspects with criminal cases as well as recovering of twenty three AK47 Rifles, hundreds of live ammunitions of various calibre and Cash amounting to over Two million Naira among other valuable items.

CP Mohammed Auwal therefore reaffirmed his command readiness to make Bauchi state safer in collaboration with relevant stakeholders through enhancing community policing and other security engagement for economic and sustainable development

Among the recipients of the Awards were the Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed, who bagged the award of excellence in security management.

The governor appreciate the Nigerian Police force for the recognition assuring his administration’s continues collaboration and support towards enhancing the security of lives and properties of the Citizenry.

During the event, Governor Bala Mohammed donated the sum of two million Naira each to the four police personnels who participated in the rescue of the recently abducted children that were taken from Bauchi state and sold in Anambra State.
