Contractors handling some school projects of the Benue State Universal Basic Education Board, SUBEB have been given a 48-hour ultimatum to return to site or have such contracts revoked.
SUBEB Executive Chairman, Grace Adagba who issued the ultimatum while monitoring ongoing projects under the UBEC/SUBEB 2022-2023 matching grant issued the same deadline for the erection of project signboards.
In Makurdi LGA, the SUBEB boss issues some ultimatums and goes on to direct all contractors to erect project signboards within 48 hours or have that element of the bill deducted from their payments.

The team which had Universal Basic Education Commission, UBEC State Coordinator as well as SUBEB Project Design and Monitoring Committee proceeded to monitor other projects in Tarka and Gboko LGAs of the State.
In Vandeikya LGA, the team paid a visit to the Acting Tor Jechira to solicit his support for the exercise. The Executive Chairman highlights the anticipated impact of the projects when completed noting that new structures will address the increased student enrolment following the Board’s recent drive.
