Nigerian referees have been overlooked by the Confederation of African Football, CAF, for the 2024 African Nations Championship, CHAN.
CAF released the list of match officials for the biennial competition on Wednesday.
The continent’s soccer governing body listed 29 referees and 29 assistant referees.
Morocco and Algeria have two  centre referees on the list.
The CHAN tournament is reserved exclusively for players competing in their country’s domestic leagues.
The competition will be jointly co-hosted by Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda.
It will run from August 2 to August 30, 2025.a
