American R&B singer Chris Brown has been remanded in custody in the United Kingdom following his arrest in connection to a 2023 assault case. The 36-year-old artist was taken into custody on May 15, 2025, at a hotel in Manchester. According to reports by The Daily Telegraph and The Sun, Brown was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm relating to an incident at a London nightclub in 2023. Londons Metropolitan Police confirmed that a man aged 36 was detained in connection with the case, though the statement did not mention Brown by name. A Manchester court has since ordered that Brown remain in custody until his next court appearance on June 13. The development raises uncertainty around his upcoming sold-out European tour dates, including shows scheduled in the Netherlands and Germany for June 8 and 11.  The post Chris Brown remanded in UK custody over 2023 assault case appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
