An Iyaganku Magistrates’ Court in Ibadan, Oyo State, on Tuesday, October 15, remanded two persons, Adeyinka Olodude,21, and Raphael Babatunde, 22, over alleged m8rder. The defendants, whose addresses were not provided, were charged with conspiracy and murder. The Magistrate, Mrs Gladys Oladele, did not take the pleas of the defendants for want of jurisdiction and directed the police to return the case file to the Oyo State Director of Public Prosecutions for advice Earlier, the prosecutor, Sgt. Samuel Owolabi, had told the court that the defendants and others at large conspired to cause the death of one Mr Sulaiman Olayinka (24) by stabbing him with a knife on his chest, adding that the offences contravened Sections 516 and 316 of the Criminal Laws of Oyo State, 2000.
