Cross River Police Command Promotes,Decorates 154 Senior Officers

The Cross River State Commissioner of Police, CP Gyogon Grimah, has decorated 154 senior police officers with new ranks, at a ceremony held at the State Police Headquarters in Calabar.

The event marked a milestone for the Command, with officers promoted based on recommendations by the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun, and approved by the Police Service Commission.

The Cross River State Commissioner of Police, CP Gyogon Grimah while addressing the newly promoted officers, urged them to uphold the Force’s Standard Operation Procedures and deliver exceptional service, assuring that their dedication would contribute to the success of the Command and the Nigerian Police Force as a whole.

Speaking on behalf of the newly promoted officers, the Divisional Police Officer of Obudu Division, Teryima Dzungwe, expressed appreciation for the recognition and support extended to them.

The newly decorated officers include 23 Superintendents promoted to Chief Superintendents of Police, 11 Deputy Superintendents of Police promoted to Superintendents of Police, and 120 Assistant Superintendents of Police promoted to Deputy Superintendents of Police.
