Delta state Commissioner for Works (Rural Roads) and Public Information, Charles Aniagwu has repeatedly told the people that Governor Oborevwori has no time to engage critics on his emergence as the best Governor of the year 2024 for his fiscal discipline and innovative approach to governance, as his works were enough response to the Governor’s distractors and those he described as serial defectors.
Aniagwu at a Press Conference in Asaba who responded to the comments credited to the former Deputy President of the Senate and a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State, Ovie Omo-Agege over criticism on the choice of Governor Oborevwori for the award, reeled out ongoing projects within Ovie Omo-Agege’s locality.
Aniagwu who explained that as oppositions were busy engaging in politicking, Governor Oborevwori was busy using projects to reply them, noting that one cannot compare the Governor who was a bridge builder, with a man whom during his time as Deputy Senate President concentrated all the constituency projects in his home town, Orhomuru living others with nothing.

Speaking on the probable political effect of the defection of Senator Ned Nwoko from the PDP to the APC, Aniagwu analysed Nwoko’s new found love with the ruling All Progressives Congress as that with little or no effect to the PDP in Delta State.
He advised critics of the government of Oborevwori to try to engage in meaningful criticisms which the Commissioner said spurs the government to be on their toes and to do more for the people of the State.
