Governor Douye Diri of Bayelsa State has directed security commanders in the state to ensure that a Judge of the state high court, Justice Ebieyerin Omukoro, abducted by armed men on Saturday in Yenagoa, was released unhurt.
The Bayelsa Governor also called on the people of Kolokuma/Opokuma council to take full advantage of the established technical colleges by his administration, expressing concern over the low turnout in student intake in the LGA.
Governor Diri was speaking during his ongoing local government thank-you tour to Sagbama and Kolokuma/Opokuma Local Government Areas.

Governor Diri, who hails from the Local Government Area, also used the occasion to speak on the recent abduction of Justice Ebieyerin Omukoro by armed men. According to him, security agencies can get to the root of the matter and bring the kidnappers to justice.
Governor Diri advised the people to take advantage of government policies and programmes aimed at improving their lives
