Edo State Gov Okpebholo renames state varsity

Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo has approved the change of name of the Edo State University, Uzairue, to Edo University, Iyamho.
This was contained in a statement by the Secretary to the State Government, Umar Ikhilor, on Monday in Benin, the state capital.
According to the statement, the change of name takes immediate effect.
It noted that all documentation in respect of the institution shall, henceforth, reflect the change.
