The Federal Government has set up a disciplinary committee to investigate the matter the November 7 assault of a senior secondary one,(SS1) student of the Federal Government College Enugu, by a gang of thirteen students.
The Federal Ministry of Education has also directed the School- Based Management Committee, to collaborate with security agencies to conduct a thorough investigation,A statement by the Minister of Education, Tunji Alausa and signed by Director Press,
The statement says based on the findings of the federal ministry of education, all 13 students involved have been placed on a six-week suspension pending the report of the investigative committee.
The statement further said the report obtained by the Federal Ministry of Education highlighted the bullying incident at FGC Enugu, which raised significant concerns about safety and discipline within the school environment.The incident came to light following the circulation of a video which went viral on social media platforms.
