EPL; Guardiola Sets Unwanted Record After City’s Defeat To Liverpool

Pep Guardiola set an unenviable personal record following Manchester City’s 2-0 defeat to Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday.

City were hoping to end their winless run after failing to win any of their last six games in all competitions heading to the game against Liverpool.

But, goals from Cody Gakpo and Mohamed Salah extended their wait for a win and placed them 11 points behind Arne Slot’s men.

According to reports, after the defeat to the Reds, it means this is the first time in Guardiola’s managerial career that he has lost four consecutive league matches.

Also, City have lost four consecutive Premier League matches for the first time since August 2008.
