EPL: He’s a machine – Cole Palmer picks Chelsea’s best player this season

Chelsea midfielder Cole Palmer has named Moisés Caicedo as the club’s best player this season.
Palmer made the statement following their 3–1 victory over Premier League champions Liverpool on Sunday.
The 22-year-old ended a 12-game goal drought by converting a late penalty, boosting the Blues’ chances of securing a top-five finish.
Enzo Fernández opened the scoring, and their lead was doubled after the break following an own goal by Jarell Quansah.
Virgil van Dijk pulled one back for Liverpool late on, before Caicedo won the penalty which Palmer converted.
The England international was named Player of the Match by Gary Neville.
However, Palmer insisted that Caicedo was more deserving.
“Today, I felt confident. I was trying things, first-time passes, playing forward. When you’ve got him [Caicedo] in front of you, it’s a dream,” Palmer told Sky Sports, with Caicedo standing beside him.
“He’s a machine. From the start of the season, he has been our best player. Wins the ball back all the time. Always 100 per cent every day. Humble, nice to everyone and everyone loves him.”
