FG Issues Stern Warning On Malpractices, Cybercrime In Schools

The Nigerian government has issued stern warnings to secondary school students involved in any form of malpractice, cultism, and cyber crimes, threatening that the law will henceforth take its full course on parents, guardians and schools

The warning was given by the executive secretary of the National senior secondary education commission, Iyela Ajayi, at the opening of quality assurance monitoring and evaluation for optimum performance in senior secondary schools

Iyela said a new national academic minimum standards is expected to come into effect by 2026

Iyela further said the government is engaging in stringent measures to clamp down on poor recruitment of teachers , learning defficiency, and infrastructure decay

School administrators have also been asked to manage public facilities under their care with passion to grow and develop the country’s education.
