Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal, tells TVC presenter to shut up on live TV (video)

Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Babachir Lawal, on Tuesday July 8, caused a stir on national TV when he spoke to a journalist inappropriately. Lawal was on TVC to speak with one of its presenters, Nifemi Oguntoye. During the interview, Lawal, who is very critical of the Tinubu government, got infuriated when the Oguntoye compared the electoral process of 2019, under Muhammadu Buhari to that of 2023 that produced Tinubu. The anchor had saidI didnt see much difference. Mr. Lawal, Its the same electoral process in 2019 and 2023. I mean, its the same administration you served under, so I didnt see quite the difference between what happened then and now Responding, Babachir said;Give me a break my friend! Shut up! Shut up! Get out! Give me a break! How can you say the Buhari governments electoral process is the same as Bola Tinubus? Whats your problem?
