Gombe state ministry of health has intensified its vaccination campaigns in the state as it has commenced supplementary vaccination in areas where reports of diseases have reoccurred.
According to officials of the ministry, the supplementary vaccination is against diseases like polio, Human papilloma virus and measles.
The vaccination will also include an increase sensitization by traditional rulers as well as local government areas in the state

The supplementary vaccination began in Kumo in Akko local government area of the state as officials of the state ministry of health intensify efforts to vaccinate children
The sensitization of the rural populace in the local languages was part of the drive drawing attention of the people to the essence of the vaccination.
The state ministry of health is hopeful that the drive in vaccination would result to a state that is free from the tropical diseases
