The Benue State Governor Hyacinth Alia, has approved the appointment of Jimmy Terhemen Ajim, as the Director General, Plenipotentiary and Liaison Affairs, Abuja.
A statement by his chief press secretary Tersoo Kula indicates that the appointment takes immediate effect.
The Governor expressed confidence that as a seasoned Liaison, Protocol, Public Relations and Logistics officer, Ajim’s wealth of experience and trustworthy record of service, would add significant value to his government.
Alia charged him to remain focused and align his work with the vision of the administration as outlined in the working document.

The Governor also urged him to always prioritize the interest of the state in his day-to-day official functions.
Ajim has worked and held several responsibilities such as Liaison officer; Protocol and Logistics officer; Executive officer (External Relations) both with the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) office, in Nigeria and London.
He also served as Senior Manager, Protocol (office of the Minister of State for Petroleum), Abuja.
