Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah has inaugurated the newly appointed members of the State Local Government Service Commission.
At the swearing-in ceremony on Monday at the Lion Building, Government House, Enugu, the governor charged the team to ensure efficient administration of the Local Government system for the next five years.
Leading the Commission made up of four other members is Nana Ogbodo, a former Chairman of the Enugu State Local Government Pensions Board.
Shortly after taking their oath of office, Governor Mbah reminded them of the high expectations placed on their shoulders.

He said his administration’s development model prioritizes grassroots transformation, making efficient local government administration a necessity.
Describing the Local Government Service Commission as one of the foremost institutions established under Enugu State’s Local Government laws, the governor underscored the importance of integrity in leadership.
