Gov. Soludo Launches “Operation Udo GA Achi” to End Insecurity in Anambra

Anambra State Government has taken an initiative to end insecurity with the launch of a special intervention force known as “Operation Udo Ga Achi” which in Igbo language means peace will prevail.

At the event in Awka, the State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo warned criminals in the state to come out from the bush, surrender, be rehabilitated and reintegrated into the society or face the wrath of the law.

The launch of the security outfit was preceded by the signing into law of the Anambra State Homeland Security bill.

In his speech, Soludo told the people that the character and dynamics of criminality have evolved and as such actions to curb these must involve both kinetic and non kinetic approaches.
