Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, wants the newly inaugurated Board and Management of ç (SEDC) to prioritize attracting foreign investments and economic development in the region.
The governor gave the advice when he received the team on a courtesy visit at the Government House, Owerri, the state capital.
Governor Uzodmma while speaking on the need to foster unity and effective collaboration among the Board and Management, emphasized the importance of engaging critical stakeholders and conducting a NEEDS assessment, to determine the region’s most pressing needs.

Members of the delegation in their remarks, commended the Governor for his achievements in Imo State and pledged the commission’s commitment to partnering the state government for the development of the South East region.
As part of the event, the governor was decorated with the commission’s brooch.
