Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State has reiterated his commitment to supporting the Nigeria Law School Yola, in maintaining its standard, and producing top-notch lawyers.
The Governor said this when he was inspecting the ongoing construction of hostels being carried out by his administration at the Nigeria Law School, Yola Campus, as part of efforts to address the accommodation deficit in the institution.
Since the establishment of the Nigerian Law School in Yola, Adamawa State, Governor Ahmadu Fintiri has continued to offer diverse support in respective areas of need.
The law school accommodation project was awarded by the Fintiri-led administration on September 4, 2024, to address accommodation challenges in the institution.
He highlighted the government’s continued support for the institution, aiming to provide students with suitable accommodation, boost enrolment and contribute to the state’s GDP growth.
Governor Fintiri is optimistic that this support will enhance the institution’s ability to produce lawyers who can compete globally, and noted that Nigeria has a reputation for supplying esteemed judicial officers to various countries, a reason he posited that law schools cannot be abandoned.
