The High Court of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), sitting at Wuse Zone 2, Abuja, has sentenced the husband of late gospel singer, Osinachi, Peter Nwachukwu, to death by hanging, having found him guilty of culpable homicide resulting in the woman’s death on April 8, 2022.
The trial judge Justice Njideka Nwosu-Iheme sentenced Nwachukwu to death on the grounds that the prosecution had proven the burden of proof placed on it by the law, finding the defendant guilty.
