“Japa” Civil Servants Still On Payroll Will Be Caught – HoSF

Civil servants who left Nigeria in the name of ‘Japa’ and still receiving salaries will be fished out and prosecuted, as many have already resigned or returned following ongoing probe.

The latest update was laid down by the Head of the Service of the Federation, Didi Walson-Jack, at an event to mark her hundred days in office, where she denied rumors that public finance will be used to fund a proposed training in Singapore.

The Head of Service of the Federation used the occasion to unveil four policies as part of the ongoing reforms in the federal civil service.

The four policies are, the Rewards and Recognition Policy and Guidelines; Incentives and Consequence Management Policy and Guidelines; Mentoring Framework, and the Protocol on the Use of Federal Government Secretariat.

The events climaxed with the recognition ceremony for the newly promoted 332 Deputy Directors to Directors cadres in the Federal Civil Service.
