Jealous woman attacks ex-husband’s fiancée with hot water in Adamawa

A woman has been arrested in Adamawa State for allegedly attacking her ex-husband’s fiancée.
The woman, identified simply as Salamatu, allegedly bathed her ex-husband’s fiancée with hot water, severely injuring her.
This comes only a few months before the planned wedding.
The incident occurred in Jambutu, Yola North Local Government Area.
Witnesses recount that Salamatu, consumed by jealousy after learning about her former husband’s planned remarriage, waylaid the bride-to-be as she was walking to meet her fiancé.
Safiya, the victim’s best friend, recounted the ordeal: “We were together earlier that day before she left to see her fiancé. The next morning, I got a call that she had been bathed with hot water.”
The Adamawa State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Suleiman Nguroje, has said the case is undergoing investigation.
