Kano Govt. Services N63bn debts incurred by Ganduje’s Administration  

The Kano State Debt Management Office says it has serviced over N63.5b of both foreign and domestic debts incurred by the former Governor Abdullahi Ganduje-led administration.

The Director General, Kano State Debt Management Office, Dr. Hamisu Ali, made this known while briefing journalists in Kano.

Hamisu Ali noted that the current administration is focused on servicing existing debts, and reducing the state’s financial liabilities.

According to Alli, N63.5 billion was repaid in 2024, bringing Kano State’s total debt, down to N127.8 billion as of June this year.
