Kano Police Burst Criminal Hideouts, Recover Tramadol Worth N150m, Arrest Robbery Suspects

The Kano State Police Command has recorded significant achievements in crime prevention, management, and control, since the assumption of duty by Commissioner of Police, CP Ibrahim Bakori.

During a Press briefing at the Kano Police Headquarters, Bompai, CP Bakori highlighted the Command’s efforts to address security challenges, including thuggery, drug abuse, armed robbery and violent crimes.

He said the Police have arrested 157 suspects involved in various crimes, including armed robbery, thuggery, theft and illicit drug dealings.

CP Bakori explained that among the recovered weapons are 2 English pistols, 19 fabricated revolver rifles and 1 fabricated pistol.

Also recovered during security operations are illicit drugs suspected to be Tramadol, worth over N150 million in street value.
