The Kebbi State University of Science and Technology, Alieru, has commenced the process of disbursing N793 million National Education Loan Fund, NELFUND, received from the Federal Government for students.
The university has also extended the period of students’ registration, earlier scheduled to end on 29/3/2025, while the levy charged for late registration would be refunded to the affected students.
The Acting Vice Chancellor, Professor Muhammad Abubakar Maikasuwa, announced this at a news briefing at the university.
The management of the university has also approved the release of funds for the first batch of screened beneficiaries.
