People in Kabba Bunu Local Government Area of Kogi State affected by the recent flash floods say they are still grappling with the aftermath of the Natural disaster and therefore want both the state and federal governments to urgently come to their aid.
They told newsmen that without long-term flood mitigation infrastructure, their livelihoods remain at risk.
While the Kogi State government has begun erosion control projects in some of the affected areas, residents say more must be done to prevent future disasters.
