Man shares how his father destroyed their home with his behaviour

A poet has shared how his father’s behaviour destroyed their home. He narrated how his mother started a school and his father, having been fired from multiple places, quit his last job and decided to join his mother in managing the school. Rather than manage the school, he mismanaged it, would take their profits to buy drinks, and eventually chased his wife out of the school she started. His wife left to start another school and the father insisted she close down the new school. When she refused, she suffered domestic violence, including strangulation from her husband. Eventually, the man couldn’t manage the first school anymore after he impregnated an employee and parents started pulling their kids. The poet said his father is now poor and calls them for money but none of his children picks his calls, only his wife answers his calls. He added that his mother has made a success of her new school. He concluded by writing that he is wary of men who only feel manly when a woman is beneath them. Read his post below. The post Man shares how his father destroyed their home with his behaviour appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
