Man st@bs birthday party guest to d3ath in Ogun

The Ogun State Police Command has launched a manhunt for a suspect identified simply as Amosun, who allegedly st@bbed a 37-year-old man, Tunde Majekodunmi, to d3ath during a birthday party in the Arinu area of Iju-Ota.  The incident occurred on Friday night, March 7, 2025.  Spokesperson for the command, Omolola Odutola, who confirmed the incident to Punch on Monday, stated that Majekodunmi was fatally st@bbed during an altercation with the brother of the fleeing suspect. The PPRO stated that the victims younger brother, Yusuf, reported the incident at the Onipanu Police Division around 8:45 p.m. on Friday. The victim had attended the birthday celebration when he got into a dispute with a man simply known as Toheeb, popularly known as Tabaiye. It was gathered that the altercation escalated when Toheebs elder brother, Amosun, allegedly broke a bottle and st@bbed Majekodunmi in the lower part of his left arm, inflicting a severe wound. It was also revealed that other guests and eyewitnesses rushed the victim to two different hospitals, but he was reportedly denied treatment by medical staff. The police revealed that Majekodunmi was later confirmed d3ad on arrival by medical personnel at Ota General Hospital, the third medical facility he was taken to after the incident. Our men visited the scene, took photographs, and transferred the body to the hospital morgue for autopsy. The suspect, Amosun, remains at large, and authorities have launched a manhunt to apprehend him.
