Mangu killings: Governor Uba Sani meets, condoles bereaved families

Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State on Tuesday, led a team of senior government officials, along with former Governor Mukhhtar Ramalan Yero, to Unguwan Dantsoho in Kudan to offer condolences to the families of the 12 individuals who were killed in Mangu, Plateau State, while travelling to attend a relative’s wedding.
DAILYPOST recalls that the governor had earlier this week, visited the injured victims at 44 Army reference hospital Kaduna where he assured them of his commitment to ensure that the culprit are arrested to face the consequences of their actions 

Governor Uba Sani was also at the deceased residents alongside other personalities to condole their families. He prayed for the souls of the deceased and provided support to the families, wishing them strength to cope with their loss.
He mentioned that he had spoken with the President, National Security Adviser Malam Nuhu Ribadu, and the Governor of Plateau State about ensuring that those responsible for this heinous act face the full force of the law.
According to him, approximately 22 arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
To foster peace and healing within the community, the Governor pledged to construct a road from the village to Basawa and to establish a hospital to further support the area’s development.
