Minister says report on Port Harcourt heliopter crash out in four weeks

The Federal Government says the preliminary report on the October 24 Port Harcourt helicopter crash will be made public in four weeks time.

Aviation Minister, Festus Keyamo made the announcement at a meeting with the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority, NCAA, Nigeria Safety Investigation Bureau , NSIB and Nigeran Aviation Management Authority, NAMA over the air mishap

The Silkorsky SK76 helicopter operated by East Wind Aviation crashed in Port Harcourt, Rivers State killing four persons, including personnel of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, NNPCL who were on board.

The aircraft departed from the Port Harcourt Military Base heading to the FPSO – NUIMS ANTAN oil rig when it went down over waterways in the Rivers State capital
