Twenty-one year old Denmark beauty queen Victoria Kjaer Theilvig has emerged winner of the 73rd edition of the annual Miss Universe beauty pageant held Saturday November 16th 2024 at the Arena CDMX in Mexico City, Mexico.
Victoria takes over the crown from the 2023 Miss Universe winner Sheynnis Palacios of Nicaragua.

In the second position is Nigeria’s representative at the beauty contest Chidimma Adetshina whose zeal and exceptional performance earned her applauses and admiration from the judges and the guests.

On the official Instagram of the organisers is a post which read: “The final two! Nigeria and Denmark, two incredible women, one unforgettable moment.”

The keenly contested 73rd Miss Universe beauty pageant was a celebration of inclusivity, talents, beauty and brains with focus on creativity elegance composure among other attributes.
The 2024 ceremony saw 126 beauty queens across the globe compete among whom are 18 African models from Nigeria, Egypt, Angola Namibia, Senegal Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Cameroon, Kenya, Mauritius among other African nations.
That’s not all, of the 126 beauty queens 18 were mothers.
