Death toll in the flooding in Mokwa LGA of Niger State has risen to 151 people with 11 others injured, and 3,018 persons displaced.
In an update shared by the spokesperson of the Niger State Emergency Management Agency, NSEMA, Ibrahim Hussaini, a total of 265 houses were washed away in 503 affected communities.

He also added that three communities were completely submerged with two roads and two bridges cut off and washed away.

Hussaini added that the search for more bodies continues as the flooded areas begin to dry up.
