NDDC Assures Completion of 1.2km Ataba Bridge by 2025

The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has assured the people of the Niger Delta region that the 1.2km Ataba bridge will be completed by 2025.

The Managing Director of the NDDC, Samuel Ogbuku stated this during an inspection of the Kaa – Ataba road project in Andoni Local Government Area of Rivers State

The 1.2km bridge located at Ataba Community, in Andoni LGA is the longest bridge project being implemented by the NDDC.

When completed, the bridge is expected to connect three Local Government Areas of Khana, Andoni and Bonny.

The Kai – Ataba road and bridge project, was amongst several big ticket projects stalled, several years ago until the Samuel Ogbuku led management team of NDDC came on board.

Ogbuku in company of his management team, also inspected the Oyigbo – Ndoki road project in Rivers State and the 30 kilometers Nsasak – Akon road in Ika Local Government Area of Akwa ibom State.

He therefore assured the people of the Niger Delta region of the Commission’s resolve to complete all stalled signature and regional projects within the region.
