Nigeria Army Supply and Transport Corps Tasks Personnel On Security Challenges

The need to reorganise the Nigerian Army Supply and Transport Corps to meet the security challenges in the country took the center stage at a conference in Benin City, the Edo state capital.

According to the commander Nigerian Army Corps of Supply and transport Major General Adekunle Adeyinka, the conference aims to reassess the Corps’ performance and strategize for enhanced efficiency in supporting Nigerian Army operations and other engagements.

Major-General Adeyinka says the conference will evaluate the achievements and identify areas of improvement to complement the philosophy of the chief of army staff Lieutenant General Olufemi Oluyede on the transformation of the Nigerian Army.

The essence is to produce a well motivated and combat ready force that can effectively discharge its duties.

Major General Adeyinka urged all participants to ensure a more proactive and improved delivery of services across transport, Supply, fire service and catering services.

The combined first and second quarter conference saw in attendance high-ranking officials from the Nigerian army corps of supply and transport .
