President of ECOWAS Commission, Omar Touray says Nigeria has paid a total of 54.3 million US dollars and 85 billion Naira to the ECOWAS Community as levy from January 2023 to January 2024.
Touray made this known at the closing of the ninety-third ordinary session of ECOWAS Council of Ministers ahead of the Summit of Heads of State and Government in Abuja.

He said it is the first time in 19 years that Nigeria is up to date with its levy payment.
