Nigerian man sentenced to 10 years imprisonment for drug trafficking in India

A Nigerian man, Ifechukwu David Madukwe, has been sentenced to 10 years of rigorous imprisonment for drug trafficking in India. Madukwe was arrested after he was found with narcotic drugs worth Rs 50.9 lakh on New Years Eve, December 31, 2019, at Manshiwada-Korgao, Pernem, Goa.  Madukwe was booked under various sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act of 1985.  A Mapusa court in Goa, convicted and sentenced him on Tuesday, February 18, 2025.  The post Nigerian man sentenced to 10 years imprisonment for drug trafficking in India appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
