No reason to stop – Alan Hutton predicts when Ronaldo will stop playing

Former Premier League player, Alan Hutton, has said that Portugal international and football’s all-time scorer, Cristiano Ronaldo could continue playing the game until the age of 45.
Ronaldo turned 40 years in February 2025 but has showed no sign of slowing despite his age.
The Portugal national team captain has scored 33 goals across competitions for Al-Nassr this season.
The former Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus superstar could be given a two-year extension with Al-Nassr.
Hutton, who once faced Ronaldo in the Premier League said on BoyleSports, “Cristiano Ronaldo probably feels that he could play to 45, no problem.
“The way he looks after himself day to day, there’s no reason that he can’t go and play for another few years.
“He’ll feel that he can, no problem. He’ll feel that he can still score goals. So I feel that he would go on for as long as possible.
“And rightly so. If you feel good, why shouldn’t you?”
Ronaldo has now scored 934 goals in football being the first to ever reach that figure in the history of the game.
He netted in Al-Nassr’s 4-1 win against Yokohama FM in the AFC Champions League.
