NPFL: Akwa United vow to bounce back from Ikorodu City thrashing

Akwa United have described their defeat to Ikorodu City as a bad day at work.
The Promise Keepers were thrashed 4-1 at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos on Sunday.
Tosin Oyedokun, Emmanuel Solomon, Olatunji Abdulmalik and Cole Ayomide’s goals gave Ikorodu City victory in the game.
Chijioke Alaekwe grabbed the consolation for Akwa United.
The Promise Keepers are optimistic about bouncing back from the defeat.
“A bad day at work…we will get it right soon enough.”Akwa United wrote on X.
Akwa United dropped to 19th position following the defeat.”
