NPFL: Bendel Insurance vow to bounce back from Ikorodu City’s defeat

Bendel Insurance has described the 3-0 loss to Ikorodu City in Saturday’s matchday six fixture as shocking.
Rivo Ayemwenre, Kelechi Onwe and Ajeyigbe Toyeeb grabbed the goals for Ikorodu City in the encounter.
The Benin Arsenals apologised to their supporters for the defeat.
“We suffered a shocking 3-0 defeat at Ikorodu City,” Bendel Insurance wrote on X.
“We apologise to our fans, we shift attention to hosting Bayelsa United in mid-week schedules.”
Bendel Insurance dropped down to 13th position on the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, table after the defeat.
