NPFL: Ezeaku takes blame for Rangers poor campaign

Rangers general manager, Amobi Ezeaku has shouldered the blame for the team’s performance in the 2024-25 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.
The Flying Antelopes ended the NPFL season in 10th position with 52 points from 38 matches.
Rangers were also eliminated from the 2025 President Federation Cup in the semi-final stage.
“Let me inform all that I take full responsibility for what happened at the club in the 2024/2025 season,” Ezeaku stated in a chat with the club’s stakeholders.
Ezeaku pointed out that the team will learn from past experience to build a stronger future.
“In the game of football what we have is always to take the lessons of the past season to prepare for the coming season.
“We were champions of 2023/2024 and ended this season on 10th spot while losing out in the semi-final of the President Federation Cup. We have learnt our lessons and have started taking actions,” he said.
