NPFL: Ikorodu City captain optimistic of derby win over Shooting Stars

Ikorodu City captain, Waliu Ojetoye says with the right character and determination his team can get a positive result in the matchday 37 encounter against Remo Stars.
The Oga Boys will be up against Remo Stars in a Southwest derby at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne on Sunday.
Ojetoye said that the team is not under any pressure ahead of the match.
“We know how important the game against Remo is,” Ojetoye told Ikorodu City media.
“We have to go all out to show character and determination and I’m positive that at the end of the game, we will get a good result.
“The team is not under any pressure. We will play the same way we’ve been playing with good characters and the right mentality. But pressure, none.”
Ojetoye, however, described their maiden campaign in the league as very good.
“We’ve had a very good season so far, fighting relegation in the first round and now we’re fighting for a spot on the continent. It’s been a wonderful season for us,” he added.
